Weekly roundup - time for a drink

It is the tenth weekend of Confined Kitchen. Ten Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus a couple of bank holiday Mondays and Fridays, of not quite living life as planned. We may be somewhat less confined (edging towards phase 3 has made bugger all difference to me, tbh, but I hear some people are out there, moving), but we are still here, where we were in March. New things have come our way (NT at Home is my signal it's Thursday evening; Zoom is basically over already, we've become so satiated). I suppose we have all stopped being surprised by lockdown. We've spent 20% of the year in it.

But it's been splendid to have posting carry on here - some new challenges, some new efforts in the kitchen, cabbage, asparagus, gazpacho, cooking out of a slump, afternoon tea, birthday celebrations in cautious proximity, and Bex as a new blogger. Thank you all.

Meanwhile, let's have a drink. Mine's a Kir Breton, a part of my #ElsewhereKitchen fantasy of Somewhere Nonspecific In France. See you on twitter for a bit of company if you fancy it at 7 tonight.
