New week, new challenge: who's up for #ConfinedSpring?

I feel like #ArchivedIngredients is a challenge that's just going to keep on coming. I personally made it to the back of my freezer this weekend and discovered a whole bag of frozen spinach. Given the small size of my freezer, this is a little like opening your bathroom door to discover a previously-overlooked rhino. Oh dear. I really will defrost it at some point, when it's not quite so critical to life to have a functioning fridge.

But I wanted to try a different kind of challenge, mostly for those who are bored, or lacking ideas for the ridiculous number of meals we're having to plan. It's spring. The sun is out. Easter and Passover are here. None of what we'd normally be doing to mark all this is happening, but we can still think of spring in the kitchen.

Ist es Spargelzeit? JA!
That will mean different things to different people. If you've got reasonable access to fresh ingredients, it might be greenery or eggs. If you're isolating, it might be Ruth's hot cross buns, or egg-shaped biscuits, or a prudently stashed Lindt bunny, or a nice bright green thing made from frozen peas or... well, you tell me.

Let's call it #ConfinedSpring, and let it be a mild source of inspiration for a week or two. Have fun!
