Yes, it's that time again. It's been a productive week on the blog. As well as Helen, Kate and Katie all sharing warming cooking, Francesca starting our "it's one year since..." thoughts with looking back at a year of living with the pandemic. It's a year since I started seriously wondering whether a major meeting on 4 March would get cancelled. It didn't, but pretty much everything since has been. Oof.
However, that means it's a year since the start of spring - and lo, it's spring again.
I'm investing in daffs and narcissi and the sky is blue.
And I'll be online at 7 for confined cocktails. A Jasmine tonight, I reckon. Plus some good wine to go with a nice dinner. I've heard a lot of people recently lamenting that weekends are just like weekdays now, and I'm very glad we've been able to create some weekly landmarks that say no, they aren't. I hope you're having a nice weekend too.
The daffs and narcissi are lovely, and the sky has been blue - all positive things.
